Carla Abellana Doesn't Know When She & Ex-BF Geoff Eigenmann Will Be Friends Again

CARLA ABELLANA says that, despite persistent rumors that they’re already on, she and Tom Rodriguez are not yet really committed to each other. “We’re still on the dating and getting to know each other stage,” she says. “Sana, makapag-date pa kami kasi ’yung last date namin, sinamahan ko lang siyang magpa-check-up sa hospital dahil na-high blood siya.”
After her breakup with Geoff Eigenmann, she’s still not sure if she’s ready to get into another relationship again. “Ipagdarasal ko muna for the Lord to help me discern kung ready na ako uli.”
She seems to have had a bad breakup with Geoff who’s been noticed to be posting some crytic messages in his Instagram account that seems to be meant for Carla. What can she say about this? “Nothing. I don’t follow him so hindi ko nababasa. If you don’t mind, ayoko na siyang pag-usapan kasi matagal na since we broke up. At paano kami makaka-move on nang husto if you’d continue to remind us.”

Is it possible for them be friends again. “I don’t know. Sana. We don’t know what God’s plan is for us. Basta as of now, please lang, ayoko na siyang pag-usapan.”
After “My Destiny” ended, she has yet to have a new soap. But this year, she’s been busy doing movies: “So It’s You”, “Third Eye”, “Somebody to Love” and now, the Metro-Manila Filmfest entry, “Shake Rattle & Roll 15”, where she appears with Dennis Trillo in the “Ulam” episode. This is directed by Jerrold Tarog, who helmed her before in the “Funeraria” episode of “Shake 13”, for which she won a best actress award. In the story, she is made to eat a plateful of lizards and because of this, she slowly transforms into a lizard.

“Very challenging yung scene na pinakain ako ng isang platong butiki na kailangan, ipakitang mong gustong-gusto mo at sarap-sarap ka sa kinakain mo kahit na nga, ang totoo, nasusuka ka na,” she says. “Kadiri talaga. Mas masuwerte si Dennis Trillo who plays my husband kasi he slowly transforms into a dog at dog meat lang ang pinakain sa kanya. E, ako, butiki! When we went to Cambodia, pinakakain kami ng tarantula ni Mikael Diaz, hindi ko talaga kinaya. Ipis, ants, spiders, delicacy sa ibang bansa pero ayoko talaga.”
