Elmo Magalona Comfortable In Displaying His Shirtless Body In Several Scenes In 'More Than Words'

ELMO MAGALONA is understandably excited as his new show, “More than Words”, with and on and off cam sweetheart, Janine Gutierrez, starts airing tonight. They’re both praying this will be as big a hit as their past soap, “Villa Quintana”. “Siempre nakaka-tense dahil this time, we’re one primetime na,” he says.

We notice in the trailer that he is seen shirtless in several scenes, displaying his buff physique. “I started in showbiz when I was 16, totoy na totoy pa ko noon. I’m now 20 and yes, nagbago ang body ko due to workouts. I really trained hard for this and when our director, Andoy Ranay, asked me to remove my shirt, I agreed kasi pinaghirapan ko naman ito with my training and strict diet without carbs and sugar.”

In “More than Words”, he plays the nerdy Janine’s dream boy, Hiro, who figures in an accident and is washed ashore without remembering who he is. Janine as Ikay takes care of him and without any memory of his past, he builds a new life with the help of Ikay and eventually falls for her.
Supporting them are Jaclyn Jose as Precy, the eccentric mom of Ikay; Gardo Versoza as Victor, Elmo’s ambitious stepdad; Yayo Aguila as Marissa, Hiro’s mom; Enzo Pineda as Nate, campus heartthrob; Stephanie Sol as Belle, the queen bee and mean girl of Southville Academy; Mikoy Morales as Chester, Elmo’s stepbrother; and Rey PJ Abellana and Leni Santos as Emil and Rose, who take care of Elmo.
