Julie Anne San Jose Says She Didn't Cry When Elmo Magalona Rejected To Be A Guest In Her 'Hologram' Concert At MOA Arena

JULIE ANNE SAN JOSE denies that she cried when Pia Magalona turned down the request for her former ka-love team, Elmo Magalona, to be a guest in her upcoming concert at MOA Arena, “Hologram”.

“Hindi ko alam na may ganung issue,” she says. “Hindi ako umiyak. Ewan nga ba’t may ganyang balita. Sinabihan naman akong may prior commitment daw siya. Ang fans namin ang nagre-request na mag-guest siya, pero maraming beses na naman siyang nag-guest in my past concerts. We’re in good terms. At saka marami na rin akong ibang guests sa concert ko, sina Christian Bautista, Sam Concepcion, Abra, Frencheska Farr at Jonalyn Viray.”

How come she’s being linked to Abra now? “Ewan ko rin, siguro because we’re very good friends and we did a number together in ‘Marian’. Magkasama rin kami sa Metro filmfest entry na ‘Kubot, Aswang Chronicles’ ni Dingdong Dantes. Kami ang gagawa ng mga armas na papatay sa mga aswang. Excited ako kasi first time kong may entry sa filmfest at sasakay ako sa float sa parade of stars on December 23.”

Why is her concert titled “Hologram”? “Kasi I will be the first local artist to use a Hologram machine showing an awesome display of visual effects in a big concert like this. In one fierce number, I will be dancing with an army of Julie Annes through Hologram. First time ko in a big venue like this kaya siempre, kabado rin ako. Detractors say, hindi ko mapupuno. But I don’t want to think negatively. It doesn’t matter kung puno o hindi, basta I guarantee that I will give my 100 percent best para mapasaya ko lahat ng audience na manonood sa akin. I have no less than 22 numbers. With Tito Louie Ignacio as our concert director, I’m confident we’ll give everyone a good time and an unforgettable show.”
