Marian Rivera So Excited As Her Wedding To Dingdong Dantes Nears

MARIAN RIVERA is so busy preparing for her wedding with Dingdong Dantes on December 30 but she also remain occupied with work on films and on TV. She in the episode, “Taktak”, of Vic Sotto’s Metro filmfest entry, “My Big Bossing’s Adventures”, and is also shooting for Dingdong’s “Kubot, Aswang Chronicles” where she has a surprise cameo role. On TV, she continues to do her dance show, “Marian”, and will tape some advance episodes to be shown just before her date at the altar.

Marian was presented to the press as the face of Nailandia, a nail studio and body, hand and foot spa that started at Tomas Morato Ave. in 2012 but now has 13 branches nationwide including Cebu, Tacloban, Laguna and various SM and Robinson branches. Why did they get Marian as endorser?
“Marian Rivera is Marian Rivera,” says Nailandia owner Noreen Divina. “Wala ng iba pang puedeng kunin. With her, our business will increase at darami ang franchise namin.”
“I tried muna their services before I agreed to endorse them at very happy ako,” says Marian. “Definitely, I will visit them before my wedding para magpa-beauty. I’m so excited kasi, 46 days na lang, ikakasal na ako.”

Is she nervous? “No, wala akong kaba. Kinikilig ako tuwing maaalala ko. Sa fitting pa lang ng wedding gown ko sa Dubai, naiyak na ako. Kasi nakuha lahat ni Michael Cinco lahat ng specifications ko. He’ll come here to Manila on my wedding day.”
Has Dingdong seen it too? “No, kahit ang style ng gown ko, wala siyang alam. Surprise na lang. Pero siya ang gumastos doon. Sa lahat-lahat. Kahit na isang kusing, wala akong ginastos. Ayaw niya. Just recently, he presented me to his relatives sa Dantes side. I was so touched dahil they really welcomed me with open arms. They even had a program na may kumanta, may nagbiyulin. They were all so warm and made me feel na happy silang maging member ako ng family nila.”
How about her dad who’ll give her away? “He’s coming on December 26. He’ll stay for one week. Dadalhin namin siya sa Boracay.”
Where will the honeymoon be? “Di pa namin alam. We want London sana, pero winter doon, sobrang lamig, so pinag-iisipan pa kunsaan kami puede magpunta and stay for ten days. Gusto namin, magka-baby agad.”

Will she and Dingdong still join the annual Parade of Stars to herald in the Metro Filmfest on December 23? “Siempre, requirement yun, e. Pareho kaming may entry so sasakay kami pareho sa float. Doon muna ko sa float ni Bossing Vic Sotto, then in the middle of the parade, I will transfer sa float ng ‘Kubot’ to join Dong.”
Will she still work after the wedding? “Depende. May inilalatag na sa’king bagong soaps ang GMA, pero kapag nabuntis agad ako, siempre, the baby will be my priority.”
