Zanjoe Marudo Talks About The Alleged Other Woman That Causes His Breakup With Bea Alonzo

FOR SOME time now, a rumor has been floating that Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo have already broken up because he has another woman. At the presscon of his new show, “Dream Dad”, Zanjoe was asked about this and he replies: “It’s not true. Tsismis lang yan. Bea knows faithful ako sa kanya. Walang iba for me. Masaya kami sa relasyon namin. Ewan ko lang kung bakit may mga taong gusto kaming paghiwalayin.”

Bea was quoted saying they hardly have time for each other. “That’s true. Alam naman namin yun. Kasi naging busy siya sa ‘Sana Bukas Pa’. Ako naman, gumawa ng dalawang magkasunod na movies, ‘My Illegal Wife’ and ‘Maria Leonora Teresa’ at ngayon, may bago akong teleserye, ‘Dream Dad’, at siya naman ang nagsu-shoot ng bagong movie, so pareho kaming super busy talaga. But we understand our situation. Para sa future din naman namin ito. Dati, lagi kaming umaalis ng bansa pag Christmas to spend time with each other. But this coming holiday season, hindi namin magagawa yun kasi nga busy ako taping ‘Dream Dad’. Suwerte ko nga dahil kahit matatapos na ang taon, may bagong show pa ako. Also, may bago rin akong movie sa Star Cinema, ‘Size Matters’, with Angelica Panganiban and Julia Barretto, kaya maglalagari ako sa teleserye at sa movie.”

He seems to be at home playing dad to foster daughters. After Andrea Brilliantes in ‘Anna Liza’, he now plays dad to Janna Agoncillo in ‘Dream Dad’ that will replace “Hawak Kamay” next week. So who is his favorite daughter? “Pareho ko silang favorite. Magkaiba naman sila. Andrea is now 11, so siya ang panganagy. Itong si Janna ang bunso.”

In the show, he plays Baste, a guy dumped by the girl he loves, Nerissa Naig. He then inherits a big business empire that makes him rich. “So magkaiba yung roles ko rito at sa ‘Anna Liza’ na poor ako. Dito, rich ako kaya lagi akong naka-suit.”

Other girls who’d be linked to him in the show are Maxene Magalona, Beauty Gonzales and Yen Santos. It seems like there is no big leading in the cast. “Ganun talaga dahil ang ka-team ko rito is Janna. Sa amin talaga umiikot ang story at suporta lang yung iba.”
