Alex Gonzaga's Career On A Roll After She Moved To ABS-CBN

ALEX GONZAGA ADMITS her career soared when she left TV5 and moved to ABS-CBN. Her first primetime soap, “Pure Love”, did very well and she’s now also busy as a host for various TV shows. She likewise has a Metro filmfest entry, “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin”, which is actually her very first movie. She plays the role of Bimby Yap’s yaya who is always at odds with Vice Ganda. Other TV5 stars who followed her to ABS are JC de Vera and Meg Imperial who did “Moon of Desire” and Arci Munoz who’s now in “Pasion de Amor”.

At the “Praybeyt Benjamin” presscon, Alex was late and Vice Ganda said in jest that she’s always late even when they’re shooting due to her tight schedules and as such, comedian Atak has more scenes than her. Alex laughs off Vice Ganda’s joke and says she’s just happy to be making a movie with him. “I’m really proud to be making a movie with Vice and be a part ng isang ganito kalaking pelikula na pam-festival pa,” she adds.

She was linked to Arjo Atayde when they did “Pure Love” and it now appears that it was just for promo purposes. She has a new big TV project assigned to her, the remake of “Inday Bote”, a blockbuster hit of Maricel Soriano in 1985. This time, she’ll be paired with Matteo Guidicelli and Kean Cipriano. We all know Matteo is now on with Sarah Geronimo so, for sure, they won’t be linked. As for Kean, we won’t be surprised if they’d be linked once again as they were already rumored to have had a relationship when they were both still with TV5.
