Dennis Trillo Proud Of His Highly Commended Award From Asian TV Awards In Singapore

DENNIS TRILLO has done two “Shake” movies before but he believes the “Ulam” episode of “Shake Rattle & Roll 15” is the most scary among those he has done. “This is not an ordinary horror story,” he says. “May psychological factor. Carla Abellana plays my wife at umuwi kasi sa ancestral home ng father ko sa probinsiya. There, without our knowing, the house’s caretaker is feeding as pala with ulam na may evil spell. Si Carla, kumain ng butiki, nagiging butiki naman siya. Ako, kumain ng aso, nagiging aso naman ako. But we can’t be sure kung totoo ba ito or we’re just hallucinating.”

He says the “Shake 15” float will be one of the most star-studded come the Parade of Stars. “Trilogy kami kaya lahat ng stars ng three episodes, sama-sama kami sa isang float. Abangan nyo kasi pagagandahin talaga ni Mother Lily ang float namin.”

He just returned from the 19th Asian Television Awards in Singapore where his performance in “My Husband’s Lover”got a best actor nomination. He ended up in second place with a “highly commended” citation. “It was a good experience, meeting other actors from the Southeast Asian region,” he says.

How will he spend Christmas? Does he remain single?
“Yes, single pa rin by choice. Ang sarap nga. Walang pressure. I’m just enjoying the company of my family. Kumpleto kami ngayong Pasko ng pamilya kaya happy ako, along with my son Calyx.”

What can he say now that his ex-GF Cristine Reyes is infanticipating? “I’m happy, siempre. Blessing yon, e.”


What if Cristine would get him as a “ninong”? “No problem. We’ve remained friends naman ni Cristine. Kung aalukin ba ako, e.”
