First Quezon City International Pink Filmest Will Show Uncut Gay Films In Trinoma At Only P100 Per Ticket

TODAY, THE QUEZON CITY International Pink Film Festival will premiere at Trinoma with Nick Deocampo’s documentary “#pinQCity” about an angel who comes to earth to see how things are going for QC as the opening film. The film entries are about gays, lesbians and transgenders and come from all over the world.

Among them are the award-winning “Blue is the Warmest Color”, “Stranger by the Lake”, “Before You Know It”, “Lovely Man”, “Freir Fall” and “Of Girls and Horses”. There will a retrospective of acclaimed local pink films like “Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros”, “Lihis”, “Quick Change”, “Markova”, “Gaydar”, “Ang Huling Cha-Cha Ni Anita”, “Philippino Story”, “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa”, “Unfriend” and “Oliver”.

Original local films to be screened are “Wala na Bang Ibang Title” by Joey Paras and “Uuwi na si August” by Crisaldo Pablo. For screening skeds, check their official QC Pink Filmfest website. All films will be shown uncensored and tickets cost only P100 each. There will also be seminars on Gender Awareness about Gender Rights, Health Issues and Education, plus the LGBT Gay Pride March at QC Memorial Center on December 13 where members of various barangays and establishments will participate in colorful floats and costumes.
