Gov. Vilma Santos Invites Everyone To Join Their Street Dancing And Parade This Sunday At Taal For 'Ala Eh Festival'

GOV. VILMA SANTOS wants to thank all the people who are now flocking to her beautiful province of Batangas for the ongoing “Ala Eh Festival” that started last Monday to commemorate the 433th anniversary of their Foundation Day. “The response is very heartwarming and I’m sure mas marami pang mga taong darating para bumisita sa Batangas this coming weekend as the festival ends,” she adds.

The festivities take place at the Heritage Town of Taal, right in front of its historic church, with Michael Montenegro as Mayor and Pong Mercado as Vice Mayor. Don’t miss the coronation night of Mutya ng Batangas on December 5, with the swimsuit competition to be held at Mother Lily’s Taal Imperial Resort Hotel. The grand finals of the singing contest Voices Songs and Rhythms will be on December 7. “Hosting the finals is my own son Luis Manzano, along with Ai Ai de las Alas and several top stars will come as judges and guest performers. On December 8, birthday ni Mama Mary, we’ll have a mass at the Basilica of St. Martin, followed by a parade with street dancing and colorful floats. Masayang-masaya ito so join us!” adds Gov. Vi.
