It’s common knowledge she and John Prats are now officially engaged. They have set their wedding date in May, 2015, to take place at the farm of John’s family in Batangas where they have a nice garden. “But wala pang concrete details,” she says. “Pag-uusapan pa lang namin.”
Isabel is lonely this Christmas because John is not by her side. He went with his whole family to the U.S. to spend the Christmas holidays there. “He will be back on January 11 pa,” says Isabel. “But we can call naman each other, do facetime or skype, so no problem. Pagbalik niya, doon namin pipiliin ang exact date and we’ll let you know about it right away. Doon na rin namin bubuuin ang entourage and other details.”
Both Isabel and John are practicing Christians who belong to the same church and they want to remain pure until their wedding night. They don’t practice pre-marital sex so, for sure, Isabel won’t be carrying a package when she walks to the altar, unlike other stars who easily get preggy out of wedlock.
“We respect the sacrament of marriage and our relationship is God-centered kaya siguro we have a healthy relationship. If you obey God’s command, mas mabe-bless kayo ni God as a couple.”
