Yasmien Kurdi Lands In St. Luke's While Taping Advanced Episodes For 'Yagit'

YASMIEN KURDI is taping some advanced episodes for “Yagit” as she is spending Christmas with her Lebanese dad in the Middle East, along with her husband Rey Soldevilla and their daughter Ayesha Zarah. But she’s hampered from work by her upper respiratory infection. She just keeps on coughing and had to go to St. Luke’s for medication.

“Grabe talaga ang ubo ko so pinausukan nila ako sa nebulizer,” she says. “E, puro drama scenes pa naman ang kinukunan sa’kin sa ‘Yagit’ kaya lalo akong sinisipon. Pati nga ang anak ko, sinisipon na rin. But still, I have to work and tape for ‘Yagit’ kasi nga aalis kami. I hope we both get better before we leave the country before Christmas. Ngayon pa lang makikita ng dad ko ang kanyang apo, e.”

This week in “Yagit”, Yasmien as Dolores does some of her most dramatic scenes when her daughter in the story, Chlaui Malayao as Elisa, is taken away from her by the girl’s father, James Blanco as Victor and his rich mom, Raquel Villavicencio as Donya Claudia. Yasmien goes to their mansion to implore them to let her see her child but she is cruelly driven away by Raquel. Chlaui is enjoying all the luxury of a rich life, always going shopping to buy dresses and toys, but she continues to think of her mom and her Yagit friends. She requests Victor to give her the chance to see her mother again and Yasmien cries buckets of tears when she is reunited with Chlaui.
