John Lapus Is The Only Actor Who Appears In All The Three Episodes Of 'Shake Rattle & Roll 15'

IT’S ONLY Regal’s Mother Lily who hosted three separate presscons for her filmfest entry, “Shake Rattle & Roll 15”. The first presscon was for the leading ladies, Lovi Poe, Carla Abellana, Erich Gonzalez, and the directors of the three episodes: Dondon Santos for “Ahas”, Jerrold Tarog for “Ulam” and Percival Intalan for “Flight 666”. The second presscon was for the leading men: Dennis Trillo, JC De Vera, Matteo Guidicelli, Daniel Matsunaga. Last Tuesday, Mother Lily hosted the third one, which she called the grand presscon since both lead and supporting cast members were invited: Jason Francisco in “Ahas” episode, and from “Flight 666” episode Khalil Ramos, Yael Yuzon and John Spainhour (in their first film roles), Kiray Celis, Ria Garcia as the mother of the maligno who gives birth inside the doomed plane. Only one actor appears in all the three stories: John Lapus.

“I play Iggy Moda,” he says. In all three episodes, muntik-muntikanan akong mapapatay lagi. Pero may twist, abangan nyo.”

Aside from “Shake 15”, John is also in the horror flick about vampires, “Mara”, the launching flick of Isabelle Daza. A co-production between Regal and Reality Entertainment of “Kubot: Aswang Chronicles”, it’s written by Richard Somes (of “Yanggaw”) and directed by Borgy Torre (of “Kabisera”). Also starring in it are Paulo Avelino and Jasmine Curtis Smith.
