The first “Feng Shui” was done in 2004. How come it took ten years to do a sequel? “Ayoko talaga gumawa ng sequel,” says Direk Chito Rono. “Sabi ko, bago na lang kaya I did ‘Sukob’ and ‘T2’. But then Kris called me about doing a sequel.”
“This started when Coco said sa thank you presscon ng ‘Juan de la Cruz’ that he wants to do a horror movie at all time favorite daw niya ang ‘Feng Shui’. I called up his manager, Biboy Arboleda, and asked if he’s serious o pang-promo lang yung sinabi niya. E, serious daw siya so I called Direk Chito and asked, do you think we should do this? So ayan, heto, tapos na ang sequel ng ‘Feng Shui’.”
So how is it working with Coco? “He’s the best. I texted him about it. Sabi ko, ‘Thank you for sharing your brilliance with me. Sobrang galing niya talaga. Hindi ‘yung magaling na nagyayabang dahil ang galing niya. Pero ‘yung galing na nagsi-seep out from all his pores.
Egoless siya, because ganu’n siya kahusay.”
Someone reminded her that it was predicted some years ago that Coco would get her pregnant. “Yes, four years ago! Nakakaloka! He’s an Indian psychic. Robert yata ang name. He’s so weird! Every year, ini-insist niya sa akin ‘yon. Ayan, nawala na siya. Hindi na namin nai-guest uli sa show. At wala kaming romantic involvement ni Coco at all sa story ng ‘Feng Shui 2’. Ninakaw ni Coco yung bagwa without knowing susuwertihin lang siya sa umpisa then sunod-sunod na malas ang darating sa kanya ng family niya, with Carmi Martin and Rez Cortez as his parents. Then our paths will cross kasi si Lotus Feet, the one whose curse is on the bagwa, has a twin at dalawa na silang nagdudulot ng malas that we should try to counter.”
