Lovi Poe Denies Rumor That Like Her Colleague, Isabelle Daza, She'll Also Moving To ABS-CBN Soon

LOVI POE just returned from a trip to Japan and she’s now planning to return there next year. “Winter season when my mom and I visited Japan so I want to go there naman in spring, in time with the blooming of the cherry blossoms,” she says.

Will she be taking her BF Rocco Nacino next time? “Yes, gusto rin niya makita ang cherry blossoms, e.”

Based on the cute and funny videos of themselves that they post together on Instagram, it’s easy to see that she and Rocco are really happy with each other. They’re always laughing and they look like the best of friends truly enjoying each other’s company. “Kasi siguro, ang tagal na naming magkaibigan kaya parang it just came out naturally na we’re happy. Playful kas­i si Rocco, e. At totoo namang we enjoy each other’s company. He helps conquer my fears. Alam niyang I’m afraid of heights so nag-rock climbing kami together. Nag-zipline while holding each other’s hands. Mga ganun.”

Will she be celebrating Christmas with Rocco?

“As usual, Christmas eve, sa bahay lang muna with my family, my mom, and my sister para salubungin ang Pasko together. Siyempre, siya rin naman, family first and maybe, afterwards, sa December 25, kami naman ang magkasama. Manonood kami ng Metro filmfest entry kong ‘Shake Rattle & Roll 15’, where I’m in the ‘Flight 666’ episode. Napanood ko na ito noong celebrity screening at ang daming nagsabi na most exciting ang episode namin set inside an airplane where there’s a hijacker and a maligno that terrorize the passengers. Gusto kong mapanood uli with the viewing public para makita ko ng personal ang reactions nila.”

Does she already have a gift for Rocco? “Oh, yes. It’s something na sobrang gustong-gusto niya at magagamit niya. But siempre, surprise, so hindi ko puede sabihin dito kung ano.”

And what kind of gift would she prefer from him? “I prefer na gamit sa bahay. Kasi I just moved sa bagong bahay na ipinatayo ko kaya mas gusto ko ang gamit sa bahay.”

What’s in store for her at GMA-7? “After ‘Dalawang Mrs. Real’, I’m supposed to do another soap on primetime. May offer nang inilatag but my manager, Leo Dominguez, didn’t like it. So pag-uusapan pa.”


Her colleague at Leo’s stable, Isabelle Daza, just moved to ABS-CBN and the rumor is would follow soon. “Not true. Hanggang next year pa ang contract ko with GMA so hindi ako basta-basta makakalipat kahit saan.”
