Matteo Guidicelli Is Not Spending Christmas With GF Sarah Geronimo

MATTEO GUIDICELLI is excited to star with Lovi Poe in the “Flight 666” episode of “Shake Rattle and Roll 15”. “Maraming first dito for me,” he says. “First time I have an entry in the annual Metro Filmfest at sasama ako sa Parade of Stars. First time ko to work with Lovi Poe and with Direk Perci Intalan. First horror movie ko rin. I play a doctor, estranged husband ni Lovi who’s a flight attendant. Nagkasama kami by chance sa doomed flight na may creature pala who kills the passengers.”

He was presented in the movie’s presscon along with Dennis Trillo, JC de Vera and Daniel Matsunaga. All three claim to be loveless this Christmas, but Matteo is so happy to be with Sarah Geronimo this holiday season. Will he be spending Christmas with Sarah? “No, my whole family and I are going home to our relatives in Cebu,” he says. “Sarah will also be with her family. But siempre, we’ll find a way para maisingit natin ang obligations and priorities natin as a boyfriend, di ba?”

What’s his Christmas gift kay Sarah? “Secret! Huwag muna, pagkatapos na ng Pasko. Baka hindi na siya ma-surprise pag sinabi ko rito. I just did a show in Europe for DZMM and I bought something special for her.”

Will he also give a gift to Sarah’s presents? “Oo naman, siyempre. But hindi ko pa nabibili. Magki-Christmas shopping pa ako.”

How come the rumors that Sarah’s parents are very strict with them persist? It’s said Sarah is not even permitted to talk on the phone with him for a long time. “Hindi naman. Okay naman kami. Everything’s cool. They allow us naman to talk sa phone, kasi nga we’re both so busy kaya bihira kami magkita.”

What can he say with the observation of most people that Sarah is blooming these days? “That’s true. Paganda siya nang paganda kasi maganda ang puso niya, magandang tao siya at very nice person. Sinasabi ko nga sa lahat, ‘Ang ganda ng girlfriend ko, ‘no?’”

Does Sarah tell him he’s also getting handsomer? “Hindi, wala siyang sinasabi,” he laughs. “Minsan, nasabi niya sa’kin. Sabi ko, kasi girlfriend ko siya, so, binobola niya lang ako.”

Will he let Sarah watch “Shake 15” with him? “Yes, of course. Very scary ang episode namin so I’m sure mapapayakap siya sa’kin when she gets frightened.”
