“I will neither confirm nor deny it,” he says.
A few days later after he said that, Megan posted her photo with Mikael showing them kissing, with a caption that says: "Make every moment count. Make each memory amazing.” As they say, action speaks louder than words.
Will there be changes on their current evasive status when Megan returns? “None. Walang magbabago. Life will just go on. I’m still gonna work, she’s still gonna work. We’re still gonna see each other.”
Mikael told us he’d rather talk about “Annasandra” than his lovelife. He also doesn’t want to touch on the rumor that Megan might return to GMA after her reign. “We don’t meddle with each other’s work but, if it happens, then it happens,” he says.
Will he celebrate Christmas with Megan? “If she’s home by then from London, maybe. But for sure I’d be with my own family. It’s a tradition sa amin na magkakasama-sama lagi kung pasko.”
Mikael is second in a brood of 8. His dad died in a car crash when he was only 16 and he became a father figure to his much younger siblings. Their mom remarried and recently gave birth to a baby boy at the age of 49. Didn’t he resent it when his mom got a new partner? “No, it’s her happiness. Okay naman kami ng stepdad ko. But we got worried when she got pregnant again kasi nga 49 na siya. Ayun, for the first time, na-caesarean siya.”
This week in “Annasandra”, Mikael as William will propose marriage to Cris Villonco as Lorraine, but he still has Andrea Torres as Annasandra in his heart and mind. When he realizes that it’s Cris and not Andrea who is in front of him, he feels very very sad. He gives an engagement ring to Cris who then gives him an expensive watch in return. He remembers the loom band that Andrea gave him which he keeps in his wallet. He knows he cannot let go of Andrea that easily. As for Pancho Magno as Enrico, he swallows the seeds or binhi left by Mang Kanor and becomes an awok himself just to be with Andrea.
