Rufa Mae Quinto Back In Showbiz After Operation To Remove Cysts On Her Breasts

RUFA MAE QUINTO was absent from the scene for sometime. “Nag-lie low muna ako dahil may nakitang cysts sa dibdib ko,” she says. “Hindi basta puedeng operahan agad at dapat ihanda muna ako so hindi muna ko tumanggap ng projects. Pahinga muna. I’m glad dahil marami naman daw naka-miss sa akin nang mawala ako.”

She’s now so back on TV and the big screen. “Bumalik na ako sa ‘Bubble Gang’ at na-miss ko rin talaga ang mga kasama ko roon,” she adds. “Also, kasama ako sa ‘Prinsesa’ episode nina Bossing Vic Sotto and Ryzza Mae Dizon in the Metro filmfest entry na ‘My Big Bossing’.”

So how’s her breasts now? “I was in pain for a while. Sa loob ng six months, bale four times akong naoperahan. But ngayon, okay na. May times na kumikirot-kirot pa rin, kapag malamig, pero mas okay na talaga.”

How about her lovelife? Is it true she has found a new nonshowbiz guy? “Yes, bale seven months na kaming dating. Inalagaan niya ako nung maoperahan ako. He stayed with me all the way. So nagpapasalamat ako na may taong nagbantay sa akin.”

But she says they’re not officially on. “Actually, magbarkada na kami, matagal na. Sa ngayon, parang MU muna kami, friends-friends lang. Dapat pag-usapan munang mabuti kung kami na ba talaga.”
