Yasmien Kurdi Forgives Neighbor Who Burned Down Part Of Her Condo Unit

YASMIEN KURDI got the biggest scare of her life when part of their unit in a condo at Taguig was razed by a fire a week ago. “’Yung storage area ko po, nasunog lahat ng gamit sa loob noon,” she says. “May nagsigarilyo pong katulong ng kapitbahay ko dun sa tabi ng storage tapos hindi sinara ng maayos at tinapon yung upos nang hindi muna pinatay. Nasunog yung maraming pictures kong nakatago roon at iba pang gamit.”

It’s good it didn’t enter the inside of their home. She was thinking of suing but decided to just forgive the erring party in the spirit of the holiday season.

Her daughter Ayesha Zarah turned two last week and Yasmien and husband Rey Soldevilla hosted a party for her. Her co-stars in GMA-7’s hit afternoon soap, “Yagit”, were present to celebrate with her. They’re all happy that “Yagit” continues to do well in the ratings.

“Kahit saan ako magpunta, people know me as my character in “Yagit”, si Dolores at tinatanong ako ng mga tao kung kailan ko patatawarin si James Blanco as Victor at kung kailan aaminin sa kanya na siya ang ama ng anak naming si Chlaui Malayo as Eliza.”
