Bea Binene And Jake Vargas Having LQ (Lovers Quarrel) During The Presscon Of 'Liwanag Sa Dilim'

BEA BINENE AND Jake Vargas initially can’t seem to agree whether they’re still going steady or has broken up. We first ask Bea and she says: “Please, ask me another question. Ayoko pong pag-usapan yan.”

When Jake is asked during the open forum about the real status of their relationship, his answer: “Okay po kami ni Bea. Hindi totoong break na kami.”

But how came they seem so cold to each other. When Bea arrived at Max, they didn’t even greet each other. Eventually, they admit “na may pinagdaraanan lang po kami ngayon,” Jake confesses. “Pero okay kami. Maaayos din po yun. After naman yung dilim, laging may liwanag.”

Jun Nardo as the film’s PR tells them they should fix their differences before the film is shown on February 13 as the movie is a Valentine’s Day presentation and is meant to be a date movie. “Kailangang magliwanag na kayo para maging maliwanag din ang movie sa takilya,” he warns them.

In the movie, Jake plays a city boy who takes a vacation in the town of Estancia and meets Bea and Igiboy Flores. They quickly become his good friends. He sees a mysterious woman in the mountains, Sarah Lahbati, and uploads her picture on the internet, leading to some terrifying consequences. Also in the film are Sunshine Cruz as Jake’s mom, Dante Rivero as his grandpa, Freddie Webb as the town mayor, Julian Trono as Freddie’s grandson who is a suitor of Bea and Rico Blanco as police detective who investigates the mysterious killings in the town. Rico himself is the writer and singer of the film’s title song, “Liwanag sa Dilim”.
