AT GMA-7, their first offering for 2015 is “Once Upon a Kiss” that starts airing tomorrow replacing “Strawberry Lane”. It’ll be aired after Elmo-Janine’s “More than Words” and before Dennis Trillo’s “Hiram na Alaala” which is now on its final week and will in turn be replaced next week by Metro-Manila filmfest best actress Jennylyn Mercado’s “Second Chances” with Raymart Santiago and Rafael Rosell.
“Once Upon a Kiss” stars teen idol Miguel Tanfelix who’s pleased with the name given by the fans to his love team with Bianca Umali, BiGuel.
At 16, Miguel is a certified virgin. He has not experienced falling in love. “Nagka-puppy love po ako when I was 12 pero hindi seryoso,” he says.
He has not kissed anyone on the lips.
Having a girlfriend is not his priority.
How about having a real life and not just an on screen romance with Bianca? Basta sa ngayon, we’re good friends. Wala na kaming ilangan dahil 11 pa lang siya at 13 naman ako when we first worked together, so wala nang ilangan. Pareho kaming career muna and studies ang focus more than lovelife.”
