LAST TUESDAY, we saw Janice de Belen at the lunch presscon of “Oh My G” where she plays the mom of Marlo Mortel. That same evening, we saw her sister Gelli de Belen in the dinner presscon of TV5 for their new shows in 2015, in which Gelli’s “Solved na Solved” is included. We tell Gelli that Janice has lost weight and it becomes her.
Gelli is hosting “Solved na Solved” with Atty. Mel Sta. Maria and Arnell Ignacio. It’s a public affairs program to provide practical and legal advice to viewers about everyday issues that confront us. “Para ring ‘Face to Face’, but less sensational and minus the violence,” says Gelli. “Doing this show is really an eye-opener and learning experience for me kasi it addresses a lot of issues and concerns that I myself, hindi ako ganun ka-aware. Ang galing ng mga kasama ko in answering questions coming from the studio audience and I’m sure viewers will love it kasi very informative. We’re airing starting this Monday, daily at 11:30 AM.”
In “Oh My G”, Janice was asked what advice can she give to Janella Salvador, 16, who’s being launched in the show. Her response got a lot of applause. “Like what I tell even to my own daughters: Be careful,” she says.
I should know dahil na-experience ko ‘yon sa sarili ko.
