“No, because my doctor examined me and told me there’s nothing wrong with me,” she says. “I’m perfectly capable of conceiving, kaya lang hindi pa kami binibiyayaan ni Lord. What can I do? Siguro nga, it’s for the best. I admit naging very busy ako doing teleseryes. Umaga na ko umuuwi. But I told him I’m willing to change, to adjust, just to save our relationship, kasi sayang naman yung seven years namin, but ayaw na niya, so move on na lang tayo. Siguro, we also outgrew each other. Sabi nga niya, he’d rather end it na lang than hurt me more.”
She says she’s happy. “I’m busy with work. Nakatapos ako ng bagong movie, ‘My Big Bossing’. I’m in the ‘Prinsesa’ episode and I play Nikki Gil’s evil sister na gagawin ang lahat with my husband Nino Muhlach para agawin ang korona sa kanya. Then after ‘Villa Quintana’, heto nabigyan ako agad ng kasunod, ‘Once Upon a Kiss’, so no time to feel sorry for myself. Maganda yung role ko in ‘Once Upon a Kiss’ as the best friend of Mylene Dizon who’s the mother of Miguel Tanfelix. Mayaman ako na naghirap so mina-match ko my own daughter, Sabrina Mann, kay Miguel, na ang gusto naman, si Bianca Umali, so Mylene and I will do everything para magkalayo sila.”
Is she ready to fall in love again? “Naku, huwag muna. I’m not even dating. May mga nagpaparamdam, pero rest muna ako.”
But how come she’s being linked to Joey Marquez who used to also be in showbiz, Jeremy? “Not true. Magkaibigan kami and we have common friends kaya nagkakasama kami kung minsan. But like what I’ve said, di pa ko ready to fall in love again.”
