GMA-7 gave him a show with Ali Sotto some years ago, “Star Box”, but it didn’t last very long. The difference of his show on TV5 is it carries his name and he is a solo host. How will it be different from his radio show?
“Siempre, this is a different medium so while I’m talking to the caller, magkakaroon ng re-enactment on screen tungkol sa story niya,” he says. “Also, I will be interviewing celebrities on camera about their lovelife. My first guest is Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno, who’s a very good friend kaya comfortable na kami sa isa’t isa. My other guests include Bianca King of ‘Mac & Chiz’ who talks about her boyfriend who broke up with her just through texting (it’s surmised that this is Dennis Trillo), Ynna Asistio who opened up about her past relationship with Mark Herras, Bret Jackson who talks about Andi Eigenmann, Valeen Montenegro, Julia Clarete and rocker Mark Tupaz. Abangan ninyo dahil marami silang magagandang insights about love and relationships that they will share with the viewers. Marami pang ibang exciting segments, like Online Ligawan where viewers can profess their feelings for the love of their life. Makikita rin ninyo akong kumakanta and playing the guitar and viewers can sing with me in the portion Jamming with Papa Jack.”
So whether you are single, taken or in a complicated relationship, be sure to watch “Call Me Papa Jack”, the love advice program that is not only for the lovelorn and the brokenhearted but for anyone who wants to know more about the intricacies of life and love. Papa Jack is quite goodlooking so we won’t be surprised if he’d gain more avid fans now that he’ll not just be heard but will also be seen on TV.
