Some Folks Predict Jennylyn Mercado To Be New Kapuso Primetime Queen Now That Marian Rivera Is Married

ADMIT IT or not, there’s no denying Jennylyn Mercado is now the most successful graduate of Starstruck. She has left behind even her partner then, Mark Herras. Most folks thought her career is over when she became an unwed mom, but miracle of miracles, she was able to bounce back and, after “English Only, Please”, is now a bonafide best actress and box office hit maker. With Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera now married, there are even those who predict that Jennylyn might be her successor as GMA’s top female star. We know of several producers who want to get her services for a new movie, but we’re told she’s already committed to do a follow up project with Derek Ramsay once again.

Meantime, her avid fans are hoping her best actress win will help her new soap rate higher, “Second Chances”, that starts airing tomorrow night after “Once Upon a Kiss”.

“Hindi lang naman ako ang nagdadala nito kundi tulong kami nina Raymart Santiago, Camille Prats, Rafael Rosell and our director, Laurice Guillen,” she says.
