TV5 Entertainment Head Wilma Galvante Proud Of Their New Shows But Sore At Bayani Agbayani: 'Binastos Niya Kami'

TV5’S ENTERTAINMENT head Wilma Galvante is very pleased and proud of the new shows they’ve lined up for the first quarter of 2015. “Very light ang content pero meron ding infotainment that not only entertains but also enlightens and helps the viewer in many ways,” she says.

Their new morning Monday to Friday block introduces several shows one after another: “Hi 5” at 8:30 AM, “Healing Galing” at 10 AM; “Happy Wife, Happy Life” at 10:30 AM, and “Solved na Solved” at 11:30 AM. “Hi 5” is a show that makes learning fun for children through songs and music. They will show the imported version but will later come up with a local version with local hosts.

“Healing Galing” is a health and wellness show Dra. Edinell Calvario (who has a hit radio program like this) and Dr. Hayden Kho, Jr. They tell Kapatid viewers how to stay healthy without hurting one’s pockets.

“Happy Wife, Happy Life” is a home and lifestyle hosted by partners of top cagers: Danica Sotto-Pingris, Jeck Conwi-Maierhofer, LJ Moreno-Alapag and RR Enriquez soon to be Helterbrand.

“Solved na Solved” will provide practical and legal solutions to issues and concerns faced by viewers, hosted by Gelli de Belen, Arnell Ignacio and Atty. Mel Sta. Maria of the popular Radyo 5 show, “Relasyon”.

One of their new sitcoms is “2 ½ Daddies” with Robin & Rommel Padilla, BB Gandanghari, Alice Dixson, Celia Rodriguez. Ms. Galvante is sore that comedian Bayani Agbayani taped the pilot with them then suddenly backed out.

“I’m really mad kasi kami lang ang nagbibigay ng work sa kanya tapos he did this to us,” she says. “Yun pala, may offer siya for a new show sa ABS. Kaya pala hindi pinipirmahan yung contract namin with him for ‘2 ½ Daddies’. What hurts me is bakit nag-taping ka pa ng pilot, alam mong continuing character yung gagampanan mo, gayong wala ka naman palang balak ituloy ito. Ninang niya ako sa kasal and he treated me like this kaya nagalit ako sa kanya. All I can say to him is madali kang palitan, no one is indispensable. Pero sana, nirespeto mo naman ang network at mga kasama mo. Hindi fair ang ginawa mo, ni hindi ka nagpaalam nang maayos. Hindi porke’t Happy Network ang TV5, puwede mo na kaming bastusin. You’re so unprofessional. Kundi mag-click yung gagawin niya sa kabila, how can he return to us when he’s burning his bridges, di ba? Puede naman siyang nagpaalam nang maayos.”
