TV5 Introduces New Weekend Shows, '2 &1/2 Daddies' And 'Call Me Papa Jack' Starting This Saturday

THE NEW WEEKEND shows of TV5 starts tomorrow with “2½ Daddies” at 7 PM and “Call Me Papa Jack”, a love advice show on TV at 10 PM. “2½ Daddies” is a sitcom starring Robin and Rommel Padilla with BB Gandanghari, Alice Dixson, Francine Prieto, Dennis Padilla and Celia Rodriguez who says that the one of a kind sitcom is “the show to end all shows”.

Set in a boarding house owned by Robin, his peaceful life and that of his brother Rommel and transgender sister BB are turned upside down when they find a baby girl and one of them can be the father. The baby being used in the show is actually a granddaughter of Rommel, being the child of one of his sons. The brothers obviously had a good time while taping the show.

BB made a lot of press people laugh at the presscon. “I used to be an action star,” he says, referring to his past self as Rustom Padilla. “20 years ago, nagkaroon na rin kami ng chance na magkakapatid to be together in one project, ‘Mistah’, a big action movie na big hit talaga. Padilla Brothers pa kami noon. Now, Padilla Siblings na. At kung noon, nag-action kami, now naman, magpapatawa na kami in this laugh out loud sitcom about a modern family directed by Jade Castro. Don’t miss kasi magiging masaya talaga ang Saturday night ninyo when you join us.”
