Ahron Villena Moves From ABS-CBN To GMA-7 And Now, To TV5 In 'Wattpad Presents' 'Cupid's Fools'

AHRON VILLENA feels fortunate to be paired with Artista Academy female winner Sophie Albert in
“Wattpad Present’s” latest offering, “Cupid’s Fools”, that now airs weeknights at 9 PM on TV5. He was discovered when he won in TV Idol, Ur the Man search of “Magandang Tanghali Bayan” in 2004 when he was only 16 years old with plenty of baby fats. He has since worked out and has become a certified hunk. He did some shows with ABS like “Kahit Konting Pagtingin”, “Bud Brothers” and “Maalaala Mo Kaya”, then he moved to GMA-7 and joined “Survivor Philippines, Celebrity Edition”. But now, he’s with TV5 doing “Wattpad Presents”.

“Naikot ko na nga lahat ng major networks,” he says. “Free lancer naman kasi ako and I’m now managed by Arnold Vegafria. Nagpapasalamat nga ako sa TV5 kasi when they first got me for ‘Wattpad Presents’, ka-love triangle lang ako nina Sophie Albert and Vin Abrenica in ‘Fake Fiancee’. But now, ako na ang leading man ni Sophie in ‘Cupid’s Fools’.”

He was last linked to Rufa Mae Quinto when they did “Enchanted Garden”. Does he have a girlfriend now? “No, ayoko muna ng serious commitment. Pa-date-date lang. Gusto ko munang masiguradong stable na ang career ko at buhay bago ko makipagrelasyon ng totohanan.”
