Artista Academy Find Marvelous Alejo Gets Biggest Break In 'Ex Ako Ng Idol N'Yo' In TV5's 'Wattpad Presents'

MARVELOUS ALEJO is one of the discoveries of TV5’s Artista Academy search. After three years, she’s elated that she is finally given the chance to play a lead role in the story featured in “Wattpad Presents” this week, “Ex Ko ang Idol N’yo” written by someone whose pseudonym is Shaicee and has had 4.8 million reads online.

“I’m really thankful for this good break para mai-prove ko naman ang kakayahan ko,” says Marvelous. “I’m the eldest of five kids at tumutulong ako in sending my younger siblings to school after our father left us. Binibigyan ko sila ng baon at mahirap pag wala akong work, kasi wala akong maiabot sa kanila. I’m hoping after ‘Idol ko ang Ex N’yo’, mapansin naman sana ako at mabigyan ng more assignments. Dati kasi, puro villain and supporting roles lang ang ginagampanan ko. Dito pa lang ako nag-lead.”

Marvelous looks like a young Claudine Barretto. In “Wattpad Presents”, she is paired with newcomer Ranz Kyle, the vocalist of the singing group, Chicser, who’s well known on youtube. Also with them is Joshua Dionisio, the former ka-love team of Barbie Forterza who’s now making a comeback after he was dropped by GMA-7. In the story, Marvelous plays an insecure girl named Chanel.

“Wala akong self confidence at ang feeling ko, I’m a loser. I became so sad nang malaman kong ang ex-boyfriend ko, si Calix, played by Ranz, has become a famous celebrity and no one would believe na naging boyfriend ko siya before. Is there hope na magkabalikan pa kami even if he’s now worshipped by millions of fans? Yun ang malalaman nyo when you watched ‘Ex Ko ang Idol N’yo’ starting this Monday night until Friday, 9 PM, on ‘Wattpad Presents’.”
