    JULIA CLARETE is a member of Star Circle’s Batch 4 launched in 1996. She has since made a name for herself as an actress and TV host. She won the Cinemalaya best supporting actress award in 2011 for Jeffrey Jeturian’s “Bisperas”. In that same year, she won as most outstanding female host in the Golden Screen Awards for TV for her work in “Eat Bulaga”.

    On Tuesday afternoon, GMA7’s weekly bio-documentary program “Tunay na Buhay” unveils the colorful life and love of Kapuso star Julia Clarete. Unknown to many, Julia used to be a lounge singer, band vocalist and recording artist. Julia's name also usually gets caught up in intrigues like her alleged drug addiction before. Her love life is likewise often questioned because seemingly, none of her previous relationships lasted. Now, Julia is a single mom with an 8-year old son.
