Aicelle used to be part of La Diva and it’s opportune that when the trio disbanded, she successfully launched her own solo career. Her concert coincides with her birthday and is titled “Class A: Aicelle Santos in Concert”. How will it be different from the Aegis songs she belted in “Rock of Aegis”?
“This time, the audience will see a different side of me as a concert performer,” she says. “I will be dishing out various kinds of songs that will test my limits. Gusto ko kasi na makita nila dito sa concert kung sino talaga ako at ano ba talaga ang kaya kong gawin as a performer. I promise to do my very best to show them that I’m here to stay.” reveals Aicelle.
Among her guests are Regine Velasquez, Kyla, Gian Magdangal and Celeste Legaspi. Gian is being linked to her and he’ll be coming home from Hongkong (where he performs regularly in Disneyland) just to be a guest in her concert. No wonder they’re now being linked! Is it true she’s the reason why Gian broke up with his former partner, Sheree, with whom he has a son?
“Gian and I are just good friends dahil nagkasama kami sa ‘Sunday All Stars’,” she says. “I consider him more as a mentor. It’s really so nice of him to agree to be a guest in my first major concert.”
