Ai Ai De Las Alas Moving To GMA To Do Two New Shows

IS AI AI DE LAS Alas, who just returned from the US with BF Gerald Sibayan, moving to GMA-7? It’s said she didn’t renew her contract with ABS-CBN that expired last month anymore as she has decided to join her son Sancho Vito to be a Kapuso. In a recent awards night, Ai Ai was supposed to do a production number but it had to be cancelled because it will be telecast on the Kapamilya network and someone said it might just be edited out.

We heard she’ll sign up for an exclusive contract with GMA anytime now and will be given a new drama show with Regine Velasquez also in the cast. This is “Let the Love Begin” which will launch the teen love team of Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia. Ai Ai will play an equally lead role, not just part of the supporting cast.

She’s also slated to do a new sitcom to be produced by TAPE and might replace Vic Sotto’s “Vampire ang Daddy Ko” on Saturday nights. If this were true, then she’ll be joining another new transferee to the Kapuso Network, Willie Revillame, who will be a blocktimer and have his own show every Sunday at noontime. It’s said this is slated to start showing sometime in April, in time with the start of another new GMA show on Sundays, “InstaDad”.
