Max Collins On Pancho Magno: 'We're Not Dating Anymore'

MAX COLLINS is the FHM cover girl this month and she’ll be the star of FHM Bikini Heaven Philippines to be held at Epic Bar, Boracay this Sunday, March 22. Why did she finally consent to be an FHM beauty when she resisted it before? “Oo nga, e, four years muna nila kong nililigawan,” she says. “Naisip ko lang, masyado akong boring, so for a change, I wanted to do something different, at ito na nga yun. Ang mom ko, ayaw talaga, but me and my manager (Perry Lansigan) tried our best to convince her that it’s time to change my career path. In fairness to FHM, they gave in to all our requests, from my stylist at doon sa mga outfits na isusuot ko. My mom requested kailangang makita muna niya ang photos before nila ilabas at pinagbigyan din siya. So far, satisfied naman kami sa pictorial kasi very classy ang dating. Very positive ang feedback ng lahat. Isa pala sa kinausap ko before I did the pictorial was Andrea Torres, kasi katatapos din lang niyang maging cover girl. She told me dapat maging very comfortable ako kasi kung hindi, makikita yun, lalabas yun sa pictorial na napipilitan lang ako.”

Did she ask the permission of rumored BF Pancho Magno who had earlier declared he doesn’t approve of her going sexy for FHM? “Ayaw nga raw niya, but then, career ko ito, e. I didn’t have to ask permission from him kasi hindi naman kami, e. We’re not even dating anymore kasi sobrang busy talaga ang schedule ko. I’m taping for ‘Kailan Ba Tama ang Mali’ three times a week, then kasama pa ako sa ‘Bubble Gang’ and ‘Sunday All Stars’, so wala talaga akong time to date hindi lang siya but anyone.”

Everyone says she should’ve joined the recent Bb. Pilipinas pageant like Wynwyn Marquez. “I really thought she had a big chance of winning kasi ang ganda ng projection niya, ang ganda ng sagot niya, very articulate. Si Wyn, dream niya, gusto niya talagang maging beauty queen. Ako, mas gusto ko talagang umarte.”

What’s her wish now? “Gusto kong mas mag-rate ang show namin, ‘Kailan Ba Tama ang Mali’. Maraming mangyayari this week so abangan nyo. I will discover na may relasyon na pala ang husband kong si Geoff Eigenmann as Leo with Empress Schuck as Sonia. Doon na magkakagulo ang lahat and eventually, I will be drawn to Dion Ignacio as Oliver.”
