Is it because she and Jake Ejercito have reconciled? “Hindi kami nagkabalikan like what others say. We’re okay but we’re not back together. We’re not even trying. We’re just happy to be friends again.”
There’s a report she had a DNA test and it proved that Jake is really the father of her love child Ellie. “Walang ganun. I’m not at all aware na nagpa-DNA test kami ng daughter kong si Ellie, unless we were asleep nang kumuha sila ng samples namin. But I don’t really feel the need to do it.”
Is she still mad at Albie Casino after denying that Ellie is his daughter? “I feel nothing for him. He’s just part of my past as a teenager. We have different values and principles. Marami rin naman akong natutuhan sa kanya. Marami rin akong naging pagkakamali. After all, nobody’s perfect. Kaya hindi ako galit sa kanya. Marami rin akong nagawa na hindi niya nagustuhan.”
How is she and her mom, Jaclyn Jose? “As of now, okay na kami ng mommy ko. There was a time we were not talking dahil hindi kami in good terms, wala kaming communication. But I now realize that whatever she said then, it’s only out of her concern for me. Nanay ko siya. I know that as my mom, no matter what happens, she is always after my best interest and what she believes is what’s best for me.”
What will she do if Ellie would ask about her dad? “When she’s old enough na, ie-explain ko ang sitwasyon. Sa ngayon, hindi naman kailangan ang biological father para maramdaman niya ang isang ama kasi marami naman kaming nagmamahal sa kanya. Father figure niya ang brothers kong sina Kuya Gabby Eigenmann at Sid Lucero, and even my 12 year old brother, Gwen.”
Andi is excited about “Your Place or Mine” that opens in theatres on April 29. “I hope a lot of people will watch it kasi they’ll a learn of insights from it about the ins and outs of love and relationships.”
