SPECIAL BIRTHDAY greetings to Mother Ricky Reyes who is another year younger as he celebrates another milestone with his birthday today. One of the most generous TV hosts and beauty experts in town, instead of having a frivolous party, he opts to spend his natal day in Childhaus and the Meritxell Children’s Home, his favorite charities. Childhaus is a home for children battling the big C. The lives and experiences of some kids who have stayed there are now in a new film, aptly titled “Childhaus”, topbilled by Katrina Halili, Mona Louise Rey, Migz Cuaderno and Felixia Dizon, directed by Louie Ignacio.
At Meritxell Children’s Home, orphans are taken care of until foster parents offer them permanent home. Mother Ricky is also delighted to attend the commencement exercises of the Ricky Reyes Learning Institute, where his scholars graduated and expressed their gratitude to him for giving them a better life.
