"I really missed acting," she says. "Alam nyo naman, sa Miss World, hindi kailangan ang acting doon. Sa lahat ng ginagawa ko, all I had to do is just be myself, so ngayon, excited na ako to act again. But I'm still under contract with Miss World for one year, so may times na I'll still have to travel and work for them."
Her younger sister Lauren has shown great acting as a Kapuso contravida. "Yes, hanga ako sa kanya. Magaling talaga siyang umarte."
She's slated to be Dingdong Dantes' co-host in the new season of "Starstruck" that will start soon, but it's also reported that she'll do the remake of "Marimar", which catapulted Marian Rivera then to full stardom. "I don't know yet. Basta happy ako to be in 'Starstruck' dahil doon ako nagsimula. Si Kuya Dingdong din ang host sa batch namin noon, with Ate Jolina Magdangal as co-host, so big deal for me na ako na ang co-host ngayon. I now have so much more to offer after my years of experience in showbiz and doing my assigned tasks as Miss World. Pero sabi nga nila, I will also star in a teleserye, but hindi pa ako sure kung 'Marimar' nga."
Would she prefer to be paired with her rumored boyfriend, Mikael Daez? "Ako naman, willing ako to work sa kahit kaninong leading man. It's all up to GMA kung sino ang mapipili nila for me. But I don't mind working with Mikael. He's a good friend at matagal ko na siyang kakilala so it'll be nice to work with him." So Mikael is just a GOOD friend, not a BOYfriend? "Basta he's a friend. When I invest in friendship or a relationship, I'm always honest." So what would she call her relationship with Mikael? "Huwag na lang...." She demurs, so Mikael will now officially remain as the "boyfriend sa dilim", because their relationship in the photos and messages they post for each other in social media, and yet they continue to be evasive when asked directly about the real score in their relationship.
