Pauleen Luna On The Reasons Vic Sotto And She Click As A Couple

PAULEEN LUNA is glad to be back on primetime as part of the star-studded cast of “The Rich Man’s Daughter”. Most of her past soaps are in the afternoon, like “The Borrowed Wife”, “Magdalena” and “Unforgettable”. Even her most recent performance in “Anyo ng Pag-ibig”, a recent Eat Bulaga Lenten offering for which she was nominated as Dabarkads Awards best actress, was in the afternoon. With her in “The Rich Man’s Daughter” on primetime and “Eat Bulaga” at noon, this means viewers can now see her every day during the day and even at night.

“Oo nga,” she says. “And I’m really honored na makasama ako sa ‘Rich Man’s Daughter’ dahil powerhouse ang cast led by Marian Rivera in the title role. Kasama rin namin sina Glaiza de Castro, Katrina Halili, Chynna Ortaleza, Luis Alandy, Mike Tan, Tita Gloria Romero with Tito Al Tantay as the rich man, directed by Dominic Zapata.”

With her so busy these days, what does she do to relax? “I like doing long drives. Talagang nakaka-relax siya for me, e. Actually I drive myself to work everyday. Pero iba yung long drives kasi it’s therapeutic for me. As of now, Baguio pa lang ang pinakamalayong narating ko while driving. Maganda rin siguro mag-drive sa Ilocos o sa Bicol.”

How does she feel when some folks in social media say she’s just after her BF Vic Sotto’s riches? “As a rule, I don’t react anymore, pwera na lang kung sobrang below the belt. But very rare na yung times na naaapektuhan ako. Actually, mas naaapektuhan ako for kay Vic, not for myself. Kasi parang napaka-unfair namang sabihin nilang pera lang ang habol ko sa kanya. Is that the only reason para magustuhan siya?Hindi kasi nila siya kilala, so it's very easy for them to judge. The reasons are actuall too many to mention. Basta ang alam ko, swak kasi kami sa isa’t isa, e. For one, wala masyadong effort na magkasundo kami on a lot of things. Nagje-jell kami talaga and that's very important. Magkaroon man kami ng conflict, mabilis din kaming nagkakabati.”
