After 'The Half Sisters' That's Been On For A Year Now, 'Yagit' Follows In Its Footsteps Now That It's On Its 7th Month Of Airing

GMA-7’S AFTERNOON shows are bonafide hits. First is “The Half Sisters” that have been running after “Eat Bulaga” for one year now. After it is “Yagit”, that started airing in October last year, which means it’s been on for seven months now. Its stars were told that they will run until May but the latest development is that they will be extended until June.

“Nakakatuwa nga dahil baka abutin pa raw kami ng hanggang July,” says Yasmien Kurdi, who plays Dolores in the show, the mother of Chlaui Malayao as Elisa. “Sa episodes na pinalalabas this week, makikita ninyong nagkalapit na uli ang damdamin namin ni James Blanco as Victor, the father of Elisa. I’m trying my best to resist him pero nakita kami ng wife niya, si Bettina Carlos as Izel na magkayakap kaya nagselos at nagalit. Iniskandalo ako at pinalayas sa mansiyon. Inamin naman ni James kay Bettina na ako talaga ang mahal niya. Binalikan niya ako pero tumanggi ako kasi hindi pa ako ready na makipag-reconcile sa kanya.”

Watch out for another twist in the story. Raquel Villavicencio as Donya Claudia, the haughty mom of James Blanco, will return soon. She will discover the treachery of Bettina who has been secretly stealing their family’s wealth and there will be a big confrontation scene between them. Don’t miss it.
