While shooting there, nag-guest kami sa iba’t ibang TV shows nila. They have 15 TV networks there. Nag-guest pa kami sa isang game show. Pinagsayaw nila ako, e very conservative pala sila roon. Sabi nila, less, less.”
“Blood in Dispute” is about two brothers, one (Mikael) with a Filipino mother and one (Cambodian actor Khat Vaihang) with a Cambodian mom. Their father is played by a respected Cambodian actor, Tep Rindaro, who’s said to be the equivalent of Christopher de Leon. Mikael goes to Cambodia to play their top sport, Bokator, a version of Muay Thai, without knowing that his biggest opponent is his own brother. Andrea follows him there and she has a rival in Cambodian actress Meas Thorn Sreynai.
“Blood in Dispute” is written and directed by Toronto-based Canadian director Ken Simpson. It will first be shown in Cambodia in its edited version as a movie in August, then will be shown on TV as a teleserye. Here in Manila, it will be shown on GMA-7 as a mini-series.
Andrea said she enjoyed her stay in Cambodia so much. “Ibang-iba ang architecture nila sa atin. Maraming temples, but I didn’t get to see the famous Angkor Wat kasi it’s in Siem Reap, which is six hours away by car.
Did she miss her rumored BF Sef Cadayona while she was away? “Lahat naman silang kasama ko sa ‘Bubble Gang’ at sa ‘Sunday All Stars’, na-miss ko, hindi lang siya,” she replies with a smile.
