AI AI DE LAS ALAS says she’s very happy that her first soap with GMA-7, “Let the Love Begin”, is doing very well in the ratings game. “Awa ng Diyos, pinag-uusapan talaga ang show at nag-trending pa kami,” she says. “So maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nanood sa amin in our pilot week. Natutuwa ako sa very positive feedback at sana magtuloy-tuloy ang pagsubaybay ng viewers sa ‘Let the Love Begin’.
Credit should go to my co-stars na puro magagaling and to our director, Gina Alajar, who’s really doing her best para mapaganda ang bawat eksena. Alam nyo, sa 25 years ko in show business, ngayon lang ako naka-experience na ang director, bago magsimula ang bawat taping, nagpe-pray muna kami at may Bible reading. Kaya naman maganda lumalabas ang trabaho namin. This is for you Lord...To glorify your name.”
On this the second week of “Let the Love Begin”, Ai Ai as Jeni is seen in the Bingo Center where she works by Mark Anthony Fernandez as Jom, the station manager of Sky FM. Jom offers her to work with him and she agrees. But there’s a hitch, she’s supposed to work with her arch rival, Gladys Reyes. Ai Ai will be known as Bebe Yonce while Gladys will be Katy Fairy. Their rivalry gets more intense when the hostile Gladys rips off Ai Ai’s dress in front of the public to embarrass her.
Meantime, the relationship of Ruru Madrid as Erick and Gabbi Garcia as Pia starts on the wrong foot when Gabbi wrongly throught that Ruru is a peeping Tom who’s ogling at her at the restroom. She destroys his bike without knowing it’s Ruru who completed the poem she’s writing for her dad, Gardo Versoza as Tony, who’s more partial to her stepmom Donita Rose’s niece, Rita Daniela than to her.
