Katrina Halili Feels At Peace After Patching Things Up With Dr. Vicki Belo & Hayden Kho

KATRINA HALILI plays a lesbian role for the first time in the lengguaserye, “The Rich Man’s Daughter”, that will replace “Second Chances” starting May 11. “It was Marian Rivera herself who called me para masama sa Project na ito and I was just so happy to work with her again,” she says. “Tapos, yun pala, mawawala siya. But we understand that it’s for the sake of her baby. Okay naman si Rhian Ramos na pumalit sa kanya. My role is ex-lover ako ni Glaiza de Castro at gusto ko makipagbalikan sa kanya, but she met Rhian na engaged na kay Luis Alandy. Nagalit ako kay Rhian at sinampal ko siya in public. Straight acting lesbians kami ni Glaiza rito. You’d never suspect na lesbian kami kasi mga babaeng-babae ang hitsura namin. After my role as a sacrificing mom in the faithserye, ‘Nino’, naiiba naman talaga ang challenge ng role ko rito.”

Has she ever had a lesbian experience in real life? “No, wala namang tibong nanligaw sa akin. Meron pala, noong high school, pero nang malaman kong lesbian siya, lumayo na agad ako.”

Someone tells her that now that she and Kris Lawrence have called it quits, she might want to try “ibang putahe”. “I have nothing against lesbians, but it’s just that mas gusto ko ng boys. After Kris, wala pa akong ibang nakarelasyon and I prefer it that way. Mas tahimik ang buhay ko at naka-focus lang ako sa daughter ko who’s now three years old. ”

Does Kris support their daughter? “Oo naman. We’re friends. Nag-uusap kami for the sake of our daughter. Lagi silang nagkikita.”

She has recently patched things up with Dr. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho. Who initiated their reconciliation? “As much as posible, ayoko na sanang pag-usapan yan. Basta ang mahalaga, nagkausap na kami, maayos na kami, may peace of mind na ako.”

Is it true it’s Lolit Solis who convinced her to have a meeting with Dr. Vicki and Hayden? “Yes, pero noon pa mang wedding nina Marian at Dingdong, nag-hi na ako kay Dra. Belo when I saw her. But nagkakahiyaan pa. Gusto ko na rin kasing tapusin ang anumang isyu sa’min. Pero ayoko nang idetalye pa kung anuman yung namagitan sa amin nang mag-usap kami. Sa amin na lang yun. Basta masaya akong next time na magkita kami uli, wala nang ilangan factor. Naka-move on na kami.”
