Maja Salvador Shows She Can Be Aggressive In Bed In 'You're Still The One'

MAJA SALVADOR says she enjoyed working with Direk Chris Martinez for the second time in “You’re Still the One”. “We first worked in ‘Status: It’s Complicated’, which is a sex-comedy,” she says.“Romantic-drama naman itong ‘You’re Still the One’ kaya iba naman ang atakeng ipinakita namin dito sa role as Elise, a woman who doesn’t believe in love kaya she ignored the man she really loves, Dennis Trillo, in favour of her career kaya napakasal ito sa iba, kay Ellen Adarna. Ako naman, nakipag-affair kay Richard Yap na dati tatay-tatayan ko in ‘Ina Kapatid Anak’ at ngayon, karelasyon ko na so it’s a new experience for me. Masaya ako doing the movie kasi nakasama ko rin sina Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco na masaya talagang mga katrabaho kaya okay na okay kami lahat sa set.”

Direk Chris has nothing but praises for Maja. “This movie is really a departure from what we usually see her do in movies, e,” he says. “Inilatag ko muna ito sa kanya ng buo kasi malaki ang hinihingi ng role from her in terms of maturity ng character, views about love and relationships and sex. Something really very mature for her. Naintindihan naman niyang kailangang talaga yun sa story and sa role niya and once she said yes, naging very cooperative siya all the way maging sa love scenes na pinagawa ko sa kanya with Dennis and with Richard.”

“Sa pelikulang ito ko ginawa yung pinaka-daring na puede kong gawin talaga,” adds Maja. “Hindi lang dahil sa love scenes kundi yung sitwasyon ng character ko na hindi yung tradisyonal na babaeng gusto lang magkaasawa at magkaanak. Tapos, in bed, ako pa ang mas agresibo rito. Nakakaloka! But in all fairness kay Direk Chris, hindi malaswa o bastos ang treatment dito. Mapapanood nyo, lahat, done in good taste.”
