Rommel Padilla Is Hoping Son Daniel Will Be Allowed By ABS-CBN To Be A Guest In TV5's '2&1/2 Daddies'

ROMMEL PADILLA is very proud of his son Daniel Padilla who’s the most popular teen actor today. Why doesn’t he invite Daniel to be a guest in their TV5 sitcom, “2 ½ Daddies”, that airs Saturday nights at 8 PM? “Naku, gustong-gusto talaga namin siyang mai-guest sa show,” he says. “At siya man mismo, gusto niyang maging guest namin dahil nakikita niyang ang saya-saya namin sa set ng kanyang Tito Robin and Tita BB Gandanghari. Siempre, ang problema, kung papayagan siya ng ABS-CBN. Yun ang pinagdarasal namin ngayon. Na sana naman, payagan siya maging guest kahit sa isang episode lang.”

Robin reveals that his Kuya Rommel Padilla is the “pinakamabagsik at pinakamatinik” among Padilla brothers as Rommel’s current wife is currently pregnant with his 11th child, a baby boy that will be delivered this coming June. His 10th child, Aryanna, 4 years old, now plays the girl who acts with them in the second season of “2 ½ Daddies”.

“In the first season, the baby who played our child Bamba is my grandchild, anak ng anak kong si RJ Padilla who’s with GMA-7,” says Rommel who plays the eldest brother, Ver. “Ngayon, dito sa new season, si Aryanna na ang gumaganap bilang Bamba. Yung 11th child ko, magiging mas bata pa kaysa sa apo kay RJ. Nag-abot na sila.”

Aryanna will definitely be an asset to their show as she is such a pretty child. “Maliit pa, showbiz na showbiz na,” says one writer. “Hindi nahihiya and she’s so happy kapag nakikita niya ang sarili niya sa TV monitor.”
Future episodes of the show will see Bamba as an inquisitive child who asks a lot of awkward questions about the birds and the bees that her dads cannot answer easily. The new season will also show the developing relationship between Robin and Ritz Azul as Maya, while BB Gandanghari as Eva gets a suitor who is so in love with him but she cannot reveal to him her true identity as a transgender.
