"Yes, we are," says Matteo. "Una kaming nagkasamang tatlo was last year in 'Shake, Rattle & Roll 15' ng Regal and we became good friends kasi we're all Kapamilya naman. I'm now excited to perform with these guys since lahat naman kami, kumakanta. This is all our first time to be doing a concert like this. Our musical director is Marvin Querido and we're preparing lots of surprises for the audience. I'm doing mostly love songs, ballads that give good vibes."
Will the go sexy, like remove their shirts and go topless? "Hindi pa naman napag-uusapan, but we might, if the crowd would request us to do it."
Since they are dubbed Dreamboys, will their respective dream girls be there? Like his own dream girl, Sarah Geronimo? "Sarah is not just my dream girl, she is my one and only girl," says Matteo, making everyone in the presscon swoon.
We notice that Daniel's real life girlfriend, Erich Gonzalez, is listed down as a special guest. Will Sarah also be his guest? "Hindi siguro kasi she's so busy. She's shooting a movie with Piolo and now, the new season of 'The Voice Kids' has also started. But I invited her to watch. My special guest is KZ Tandingan. We're close since she won sa 'X Factor' kasi we're both Visayan."
Did Sarah give her any tips or advice about concert performing? "She just told me to enjoy it, have fun. Baka later, she might give me more tips dahil siya, we know she has staged so many concerts na before."
Matteo is now also doing his first action movie, "Tupang Ligaw", under BG Productions, directed by Rod Santiago, with Paolo Contis and Bangs Garcia. "I'm really excited with this kasi dream ko talaga to do an action movie. I brought my own people to teach me how to do stunts and fight choreography."
He's also recording his first album in collaboration with Star Records, produced by Louie Ocampo. "It'll be a combination of original songs and cover versions. It'll be a full album of ten songs. I've already recorded three songs and we plan to release it by August."
Is it true the title of his album is "Divine" and Sarah's mom, whose name is Divine, is against it? "I've read about that but it's not true at all."
Does he plan to invite Sarah to do a duet with her? "No, I don't want to be accused of using her. I want to make it on my own."
