“Yes, we do,” says Enrique. “After the success of ‘Forevermore’, siempre kailangang ang susunod na project namin will also be as successful, kasi kung hindi, sayang naman the gains we made dahil sa ‘Forevermore’. But we’re optimistic na susuportahan naman ng viewers ng ‘Forevermore’ ang ‘Just The Way You Are’ kasi ibang putahe naman ang mapapanood nila rito.”
He’s happy that he is playing a different character. “Sa ‘Forevermore’, as Xander, may pagka-bad boy ang character ko kasi ang dami niyang problems with his family. Pati mga problemang hindi naman niya sinasadya, sa kanya isinisisi ng pamilya niya. In ‘Just the Way You Are’, I play the role of Drake, a cool kid, hotshot, kaya lang nagkaroon ng problem when he discovers that his dad is cheating on his mom. Dahil doon, naging hindi ako seryoso about love. Para sa akin, laro lang ito kasi ito ang nakita ko sa father ko. And then I meet si Liza at nagbago ang pananaw ko.”
He’s excited to travel to the U.S. with Liza after the movie opens here in our country. “’Just the Way You Are’ will be shown in various cities in the States at maga-attend kami ni Liza ng premiere nights doon and also do some shows together. Hopefully, we’ll get to know each other better and become closer while travelling nang magkasama.”
