Jennylyn Mercado's Career On The Upswing After Winning As FHM's Sexiest Woman & Doing Two New Mainstream Films With Kapamilya Actors

JENNYLN MERCADO's career is truly coming up roses these days. After winning best actress in the last Metro Filmfest for "English Only, Please", she now wins as FHM's Sexiest Woman this year, which is quite a feet considering that she's already a single mom and her son Alex Jazz is now four years old. You have to give it to her as she really knows how to take good care of her sexy figure by working out regularly and indulging in various sports.

This is her first time to win the coveted title and she bested out her chief rival, Andrea Torres, also a Kapuso actress. She posted her thanks in her social media account: "Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me to be this year's FHM Sexiest Woman. Sobrang nakaka-flatter to be recognized as someone you consider as sexy."

Not only that, Jen is shooting a new movie, "Pre-Nup", with Sam Milby to be shot in New York no less, and she will have an entry again in the coming December film festival, "Walang Forever", this time pairing her with JM De Guzman of the indie hit "That Thing Called Tadhana". Take note that Jen is a Kapuso and her leading men in both new movies she's doing are Kapamilya. She has also put up her own business, a salon and spa in Quezon City.

As far as her lovelife is concerned, she continues to deny that she and ex-BF Dennis Trillo have kissed and made up, despite constant sightings of them being cozy with each other. Someone says they're just not ready yet to proclaim that "love is lovelier the second time around". But they are surely getting there. There's talk that GMA-7 is bringing them back together again in the upcoming soap, "The Faithful Husband", but we're not sure if Jen would agree to play the role of the unfaithful wife?
