"I want to thank all my Filipino fans in the U.S. who supported my show and tried to make me feel comfortable during my stay there," she says. "I'm proud of the music videos I shot there kasi kakaibang Julie Anne ang mapapanood ng mga tao. Iba-iba ang themes ng tatlong videos. May light lang ang atake, pero meron ding intense at may dance video."
Julie Anne herself writes her own songs now. "Usually, I start by writing them as poems. Then nilalagyan ko ng melody. Most of my own songs are hugot songs which for me, is the best way to connect with people."
She's no back on the set of the new soap, "Buena Familia", where she's paired for the first time with Jake Vargas. Also in the cast are Kylie Padilla, Martin del Rosario, Angelu de Leon, Bobby Andrews and Mona Louise Rey. She's also one of the stars who is seen doing Chika Minute for "24 Oras". She also hosts "Day Off" on GMA News TV and is seen regularly in "Sunday All Stars".
