Randy Santiago Happy That Brother Raymart & Ex-Wife Claudine Barretto Are Friends Once Again

RANDY SANTIAGO wears two hats in TV5's new Sunday night sitcom, "No Harm No Foul", that airs at 8PM after "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". He plays Lebron the friend of Ogie Alcasid as Jawo, who has become very rich and has gone around the world. "Niyayabangan ko si Ogie rito at ang mga kaibigan niya kasi ako yumaman na, sila, mga pobre pa rin," he says.

Randy also acts as the show's director and he admits he gets two separate talent fees for his twin jobs as actor and director. He's one director who's working with two top networks now as he's also directing Willie Revillame's game show on GMA-7, also shown on Sundays.

"Buti na lang magkaiba naman sila," says Randy. "Game show ang isa at ito namang 'No Harm No Foul' is a sitcom. E, passion ko talaga magdirek ng sitcom dahil enjoy talaga akong magpasaya ng viewers, kaya kina-career ko talaga ang pagdidirek nitong 'No Harm No Foul'."

How is it working with Ogie Alcasid and the basketball stars turned actors in the show: Yoyong Martirez, Kiefer Ravena, Gary David, Willie Miller and Beau Belga? "Si Ogie, dati nang comedian yan kaya sanay na siyang nagpapatawa sa harap ng camera. But the basketball players na kasama namin, magugulat kayo dahil they all deliver. Hindi lang sila sa basketball court magaling kundi pati sa harap ng kamera. Alam nila kung paano magpatawa ng audience."

His brother Raymart's ex-wife, Claudine Barretto, admitted on TV that the two of them are good friends once again. What can he say about this?

"Well, we're very happy for them. We're happy for Claudine na bumalik na siya at may ginagawa nang pelikula. And, of course, we're also very happy for Raymart dahil moving on na talaga siya. Yun nga, talon na lang siya nang talon ngayon sa eruplano kasi skydiving ang hobby niya."
