Dingdong Dantes Has Nora Aunor As Special Guest For The Finale Week Of 'Pari 'Koy'

DINGDONG DANTES is excited with the coming of his and Marian Rivera’s baby girl, but he’s also thrilled with the inclusion of Nora Aunor in the cast of his GMA primetime soap, “Pari ‘Koy”. “Dream ko talaga ito as I’ve always wanted to work with her,” he says. “And I can now proudly claim na I had the privilege na makatrabaho ko ang superstar ng local showbiz.”

Nora is just too happy to oblige the invitation of Director Maryo de los Reyes to appear in the show after she guested in an episode of the afternoon drama “Karelasyon”. “May pinagsamahan kami ni Direk Maryo in movies like ‘Alkitrang Dugo’, ‘Annie Batungbakal’, ‘Bongga Ka ‘Day’ and ‘Rock and Roll’ na ako mismo ang nag-produce,” says Ate Guy. “So happy ako to be reunited with him dito sa ‘Pari Koy’.

In “Pari Koy”, Ate Guy will play a widow who has lost her zest for life and becomes a beggar.

Direk Maryo is the best example of the saying “the show must go on”. He is still mourning the death of his talent, Ozu Ong of Masculados who was brutally murdered by carnappers, but he continues to direct the taping of “Pari ‘Koy”. The episode with Ate Guy will start airing this coming week. Ate Guy’s story will overlap with that of Andrea Torres as a night club dancer and Andrea is so happy that she is also given the chance to have scenes with Ate Guy. “Pari Koy” started airing last March and. after five months, will have its final telecast on August 21, to be replaced by “Marimar” with Megan Young on August 24.
