“We’re really thankful to ABS-CBN and Dreamscape for giving us this great project,” says James. “This is our first teleserye and it was even shot on location in San Francisco, California. Maraming magagandang locations na ipakikita rito like the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Napa Valley at iba pa. We enjoyed taping there kahit kokonti lang kami at tulong-tulong kami in taping the show.” “We’re also thankful to Director Antoinette Jadaone kasi ang ganda talaga ng naisulat niyang story for us ni James about young OFW’s in America,” says Nadine.
For sure, they’ll be compared to the Kathniel love team whose “Pangako Sa’Yo” is now rating very high.
How did she react when James was linked to Julia Barretto? “I knew James would take care of our love team,” she says. “Andiyan naman siya, siya mismong tanungin nyo.” “I’ve read everything that’s been written about it and there’s no need to explain because it’s not true,” says James. “Even that story about me and Julia’s father (Dennis Padilla) na nagalit daw sa akin nang makita, also not true simply because I’ve never met her father.”
One writer says that James himself is definitely one of the biggest edges of “On the Wings of Love”.
