"I've done mostly dramas with them like 'Glamorosa', 'Third Eye', 'Valiente' and naging judge din ako sa 'Artista Academy', pero ngayon pa lang ako magko-comedy sa kanila," she says. "Nakakaaliw ang role ko rito bilang Jenny, a career-oriented woman who's bitter kasi iniwan siya ng kanyang runaway groom sa harap ng altar. Biruin mo, ako pang pinagbayad ng wedding gown na sobrang mahal kaya hinulug-hulugan ko roon sa designer hanggang fully paid na. Enjoy ako sa mga kasama ko rito at lagi kaming masaya, sa taping, with our director, Mark Meily, na parang pelikula ang treatment sa paggawa ng aming show."
We ask Direk Mark how he recruited the show's cast members. "Nauna muna yung script at nang buo na ang characters, we cast kung sinong babagay rito," he says. "Mitch Valdes is the most senior member of the cast at bagay siya sa role of the widow na tumatayong Mother Hen ng grupo. Si Lorna, habol namin ang lalim ng characterization niya as an empowered woman. Si Gelli de Belen naman, concept pa lang ito, kasama na siya sa list of actresses we want kasi magaling siya talaga sa comedy. Ruffa Gutierrez is perfect as the separated woman who's very chic, classy and glamorous. Ritz Azul also fits the role of Mia, yung dalaga sa grupo na sexy pero innocent pa at hindi malaswa ang dating. Newcomer Andie Gomez plays Mitch's daughter na single mom. She auditioned and we wanted someone fresh pero magaling sa comic timing so we got her. It's a big powerhouse cast that can be intimidating, but in fairness to all of them, walang diva or primadonna sa kanila and we're all enjoying each other's company on the set."
